Nevin Moore

Nevin Moore, 28, Thornton, CO, formerly of Dickinson, died Tuesday, August 8, 2006. Funeral services are 2 p. m. , Sunday, August 13, 2006 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dickinson, with Rev. Steven Tangen and Rev. Pat Higgins officiating. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson with a prayer service at 7 p. m. Visitation will continue Sunday at the church one hour prior to the service. Nevin Moore was born April 4, 1978 in Fargo, ND to James and Karen (Gervais) Moore. He moved to Dickinson in 1981 and attended school, graduating from Trinity High School in 1996. He was employed by Champ Construction and Big K Industries until going to work for Cooper Energy Systems in Colorado. He loved fishing and hunting and lived life to the fullest. He was an avid Buccaneer?s fan. He had an infectious smile, and his presence would light up a room. He is survived by: one son, Chase Alan Moore and Chase?s mother, Amy Dassinger, both Dickinson; his parents, James (Becki) Moore, Tampa, FL; Karen (Melvin) Frank, Dickinson; two sisters, Karie Moore and Angela Moore, both of Dickinson; step brother and step-sister, Jack Dyke and Kim (Melvin) Davis; several nephews and a niece; grandmother; step-grandparents, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandfather, aunt, and maternal grandparents.
