Norene Gunwall

Graveside services for Norene Gunwall, 87, of Killdeer will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Dunn Center Cemetery with Pastor Dorothy Stein officiating.

Visitation for Norene will be from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Thursday October 15, 2020 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Killdeer.

Norene passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at Sanford Health in Bismarck.

Norene Wilda Gunwall was born April 16, 1933 to William and Amanda (Berg) Bell. She attended Longfellow Country School and graduated from Dunn Center High School. Norene worked for MDU in Killdeer for 20 years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, quilting and playing cards and bingo.

She is survived by her son, Ronald (Bobby) Lazorenko of Bismarck; step-children, David (Sharon) Gunwall, Wayne (Glenda) Gunwall, Tom (Anita) Gunwall, Jean (Gust) Velenchenko, Jeff (Dana) Gunwall, Robby (Becky) Gunwall, Mickey Gunwall; and brother, Leo (Frances) Bell.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Gunwall; and sisters, Lelah Ritz, Doris Henderson.
