Graveside service for Norma Fae Cridland, 62, of Dickinson formerly of Ekalaka, MT, will be Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 1:30 p. m. in the Beaver Lodge Cemetery, Ekalaka, MT with Fr. Thomas Tobin officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Baker. Norma passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 in Jamestown, ND. Norma Fae Cridland was born May 21,1945 to Rankin and Helen (Stitser) Dean. She grew up and attended elementary school in Ekalaka and later attended Carter County High School. After graduation she married Tom Anderson and had two children, Darin and Samone. Norma raised her two children in Ekalaka as well as West Yellowstone and later DeBorgia. During this time she managed the ?New Life? in Ekalaka and later worked as head cook at Dahl Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home. After her children graduated high school she began working road construction throughout Montana and North Dakota. Norma spent the last 10 years in Dickinson to be closer to her family. Norma was a very generous person in all areas of her life, especially for those in needs. She had a very special lover for all of her family. Norma especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to play bingo and go to the casino. She is survived by her mother, Helen Dean, Ekalaka, MT; her son Darin (Gretchen) Anderson, Seattle, WA; her daughter, Samone (Chad) Brennan, Dickinson; her brother Tim (Mary) Dean, Bozeman, MT; and her sister, Jan (Dave) Rutledge, Billings, MT; and her grandchildren; Travis, Mariah, Chelcee, and Ashley. Norma is preceded in death by the love of her life, Willard Cridland, her father, Rankin Dean and a granddaughter, Amber Brennan.
