Norman Imhoff, age 78, of Hebron, died Saturday, July 07, 2007 while a patient at Medcenter One in Bismarck. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Central Time on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hebron with Pastor Marcy Dawson, officiating. Burial will be beside his beloved wife Dorothy in the First Congregational Cemetery in Hebron. Military rites will be by Henry Biffert Post #100. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-8:30 PM at Spangelo Funeral Home in Hebron with sharing of memories at 8:00 pm. There will be no visitation at the church. Norman was born August 14, 1928, at Bismarck, ND, the son of Alvin and Dora (Feil) Imhoff. He was raised near Hebron and educated at Hebron School. He entered the US Army and served in Korea. He was one of 12 in the whole Battalion to survive the conflict. Norman returned home and took over the farm, which he still operated, until he entered the hospital earlier this week. He was a member of the First Congregational Church, Hebron Brick City Senior Citizens, and the Henry Biffert Post #100 of the American Legion. He is survived by his step son: Clyde Ding, of Dallas, TX; four step grandsons; and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother: Wilbert (Mavis) Imhoff, Bismarck, ND; and one sister Birdie Brettin, in Wyoming, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Dorothy.
