Ottilia Follmer, 93 of Billings, Montana formerly of Baker passed away Friday, September 3, 2004 at Aspen Meadows Assisted Living Home in Billings. Ottilia was born January 11, 1911 at Plevna, the daughter of Gottlieb and Barbara Lutz Klukas. She attended country schools south of Plevna and worked for several neighbors for a short time. On October 29, 1931, Ottilia was married to Otto Follmer at Plevna. Together they farmed southwest of Plevna before moving north of Plevna where they farmed until 1941. At that time, they purchased the Klukas homestead eight miles south of Plevna where they raised their family and farmed until 1975 when they retired. They moved into Baker where Tillie made her home until 1998 then she moved to Aspen Meadows Assisted Living Home in Billings. Tillie enjoyed having people stop by for a visit. She liked puzzles, word searches, bingo and scrabble. Tillie especially loved and enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Plevna First Baptist Church, Mission Circle and the Happy Neighbors Homemakers Club. Survivors include a son, Glenn (Gloria) Follmer, Billings; three daughters: Alice Follmer, Seattle, WA, Darlene (Ted) Hepperle, Plevna and Luann (Viktor) Graf, Billings; ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otto; a daughter, Burnette Schweigert; three brothers; four sisters and two grandchildren.
