A Funeral Mass for Ottilia “Tillie” Privratsky, 88, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Shannon Lucht celebrating.  Burial will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in New Hradec, ND.


Visitation for Tillie will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2017 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil service being held at 6:30 p.m.


Tillie passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at St. Benedict’s Health Center in Dickinson.


Ottilia Saetz was born January 17, 1929, in Dickinson, the daughter of Frank and Annie (Krush) Saetz.  She grew up on the family farm northeast of Dickinson and attended school at New Hradec.  After school she met and married Rudolph J. Privratsky at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Hradec on July 2, 1946.  The couple moved to a farm two miles west of New Hradec.  It was here, where they raised their family of 12 children.  After Rudolph passed away in 1972, Tillie continued to farm with the help of her children.  She enjoyed her cattle and farming.  She later retired and moved into Dickinson.  Family was important to Tillie and she loved visiting with them over a cup of coffee and Kolache.  She enjoyed baking and keeping her family fed.  Tillie was an example of strong perseverance for her family, by continuing to farm and ranch as a single mother.


Tillie is survived by her seven sons and five daughters: Rudolph F. (Helen) of Dickinson, Paul of Belle Fourche, SD, Robert (Sharon) of Dickinson, Ralph (Mary Jo) of Dickinson, James (Brenda) of Beulah, Allan of Dickinson and Gordon of CA, Tillie Weiler of OR, Susan (Leonard) Pavlicek of Dickinson, Judy (Mike) Lynn of NV, Lucy (Greg) Meyer of Dickinson and MaryAnne (Tom) Meyerhoeffer of Dickinson; one brother, Frank Saetz; Tillie was greatly blessed with many many, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rudolph; infant sister Marie, sisters, Annie Saetz, Martha Kuhn and Betty Ridl; sons-in-law, Terry Weiler and Eugene Filipi; daughters-in-law, Deidra and Diana Privratsky.
