A Funeral Service for Patricia ?Pat? Olszewski, 68, of Baker, MT formerly of Philadelphia, PA will be 2:00 p. m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013, in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker, MT with Pastor Mike Davis of Lakeview Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013, in Northwood Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a. m. until the time of service at Stevenson Funeral Home. Pat passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Fallon Medical Complex in Baker, MT. Patricia Ann Olszewski was born on March 3, 1944, the daughter of Anthony and Bertie C. (Gebhardt) in Philadelphia, PA. She grew up in Philadelphia where she attended school. Following the death of her maternal grandmother, Pat became her grandfather?s care giver. Following the death of her grandfather, Pat worked in the Fleer Candy factory, then at K-Mart in the ladies clothing and eventually for Pep Boy?s auto parts. Besides working, Pat was a mother to her daughter, Patti. Upon her retirement from Pep Boy?s Auto, Pat worked in the Election Polls in Philadelphia. In 2006, Pat and her father along with her daughter Patti and her family moved to Baker, MT. Coming out west brought a slower pace of life. It was a time for Pat to meet and make new friends. She enjoyed her travels around town helping her special friend Robin Miller deliver the meals on wheels; taking bus trips; playing bingo and was always ready for a good game of bowling. She enjoyed her time at the Baker Senior Citizens. Pat is survived by her daughter, Patti (Jeff) Brookes of Baker, MT; her two granddaughters, Kimberlee Brookes and Kelly Brookes both of Baker, MT; two brothers, Robert (Patricia) Olszewski and John (Janice) Olszewski both of Cape May, NJ, several nieces and nephews and special friend Jay Gregory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Bertie and her brother, Anthony Olszewski. Memorials can be made to the Baker Senior Citizens in memory of Pat.
