A Funeral Mass for Patrick “Mick” Tuite Jr. , 58, of Bismarck will be 10:00 a. m. MST, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson, ND. Visitation for Mick will be from 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. MST, Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a Rosary & Vigil service being held at 6:00 p. m. MST. Mick passed away January 14, 2016 at his home in Bismarck due to natural causes. He was born December 18, 1957 in Dickinson, ND to Patrick Sr. and Irene (Weiler) Tuite. Mick grew up in Dickinson and attended St. Joseph and St. Patrick Elementary Schools and Trinity High School. Following graduation, he worked at Jack’s Drive In for several years then was employed by Burlington Northern Railroad for the remainder of his life. Mick married Valli Deck on August 4, 1980. They were blessed on March 17, 1981, with the premature arrival of their only son Aaron who weighed only 2 lbs 9 ozs. He survived to become the light of his father’s life and was truly treasured by his dad. Mick was an avid New York Yankees fan which resulted in a lot of ribbing from his family members. He was an amazing father, son, brother and uncle. Family was so important to him and he truly doted on the ones he loved. He adored his nieces and nephews and they adored him. He was an extremely kind soul and was always willing to lend a hand to friends and family. In the past couple of years he stepped into the role of caregiver for his parents. He did so with gentleness and compassion and was always concerned he wasn’t doing quite enough. Mick is survived by his son, Aaron Tuite of Bismarck, ND; his father, Patrick Tuite Sr. of Dickinson, two brothers – Brian (Laurie) Tuite of Finley, ND and Robert (Sharon) Tuite of Arlington, TX; his niece and nephews – Jordyn Tuite of Finley, ND; Ryan Tuite of Finley, ND; and Kyle (Sheila) Nelson of Fargo, ND; one grandniece – Isabelle Nelson of Fargo; one aunt – Delores (Cliff) Barnhart; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Tuite; his infant brother, Mark Tuite; his brother, Shannon Tuite; and aunt Eva Goetz.
