Mass of Christian Burial for Paul P. Dvorak will be 1 p. m. Thursday, April 12, 2007, at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Austin Vetter, celebrating. Interment with Military Rites provided by Dickinson Veterans Drill Team will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson with a rosary and vigil service at 7 p. m. Paul P. Dvorak, 89, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007 at his home with his family by his side. Paul was born on August 2, 1917, the son of Joseph and Anna (Splichal) Dvorak in Dickinson where he grew up and attended school. Paul enlisted into the US Army and served during WW II which he was awarded the Purple Heart. After being honorably discharged Paul returned home to Dickinson were he met and married his wife, Eva Perzinski on June 11, 1946. They were married in the St. Mary?s Catholic Church in South Heart and had celebrated 60 years of marriage. Paul began his own plastering business called Paul P. Dvorak Plastering in the late 1940?s. Over the years as the business changed it became Dvorak Dry Wall, which he operated until 1981. Paul was very active with the Dickinson Veteran?s Drill Team over the years and was a member of the St. Patrick?s Catholic Church. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening and especially enjoyed meeting his buddies for coffee. Paul loved and cherished his children, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. Survivors include, his wife, Eva Dvorak, Dickinson; two daughters, Marti Dvorak, Bismarck and Geri Dvorak, Dickinson; two sons, Marvin (Linda) Dvorak and Virgil Dvorak both of Dickinson; a son-in-law, Bruce Decker, Dickinson; three brothers, Stanley (Emma) Dvorak, Dickinson, Tom Dvorak, Dickinson, Vince (Lillian) Dvorak, Arizona; two sisters Emma Sanders, Dickinson and Mildred Dvorak, OR. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Bernadette Decker and several brothers and sisters.
