Funeral Services for Paula Schwartz, 90, of Bismarck, is 11:00 a. m. CDT, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at St. Ann?s Catholic Church in Hebron for Father Arul Joseph celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Ann?s Catholic Cemetery, Hebron, NDVisitation will be from 4:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. CST, Monday, at St. Ann?s Catholic Church with a Vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. CDT. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, one hour prior to the Mass at St. Ann?s Catholic Church. Paula was born on December 14, 1920 the daughter of William and Christina (Reuter-Krueger) Reetz in Hebron, ND. She grew up and attended school in Hebron graduating from the Hebron High School in 1937. She was united in marriage to Kasper Schwartz on September 26, 1939 in Hebron. To this union three children were born: Dennis, Joyce and Dale. Together they farmed North of Hebron until retiring in 1981. They moved into Hebron were they made their home. Shortly after the death of Kasper Paula moved to Richardton were she lived with her daughter, Joyce. Paula also resided briefly in Bismarck were she passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011 at St. Alexius Medical Center. Paula enjoyed crocheting, board games and especially card games. Paula was instrumental in starting the Farmers Valley Fireflies 4-H group and served as a 4-H leader for many years in Hebron. She was a past member of the Little Knife Homemakers Club of Hebron and a member of the St. Ann?s Catholic Church also of Hebron. She is survived by a daughter, Joyce (Marc) Erhardt, Richardton, ND; a son, Dennis (Pat) Schwartz, Conroe, TX; six grandchildren, Eric (Kim) Schwartz, Paul (Julie) Schwartz, Perry (Stephanie) Erhardt, Karla (Rick) Hieb, Jason (Nicole) Schwartz and Randy Schwartz and 10 great grandchildren. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kasper; a son, Dale; two brothers, and two half sisters. Funeral Services for Paula Schwartz, 90, of Bismarck, are pending with Spangelo-Stevenson Funeral Home, Hebron. Paula passed away Friday, March 11, 2011 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.
