A funeral Mass for Pauline Glasser, 92, of Glen Ullin, will be 1:00 p. m. CT, Monday, October 10, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glen Ullin with Father Jeff Zwack celebrating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for Pauline will be 3:00 p. m. -5:00 p. m. CT, Sunday, October 9th at the church with a rosary and vigil service being held at 4:00 p. m. CT. Pauline passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Marian Manor Health Care Center, Glen Ullin. Pauline was born May 24, 1924, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Geiss) Herz. She grew up and attended country school through the eighth grade and then she stayed home to help raise her younger siblings. On November 28, 1944, Pauline married John Glasser at St. Joseph’s Church south of Glen Ullin. They were blessed with seven children who they raised together on the family farm. Pauline shared her goodness by cleaning St. Joseph’s parish house and cooking meals for the priest for many years. After retiring in 1978, they moved the family house to Glen Ullin and made their home there. Pauline made her final home at Marion Manor in Glen Ullin in 2007. She enjoyed playing cards, baking, trying new recipes, and raising bountiful gardens. Pauline was always a hard worker and well known by many. She sold Tupperware and wrote for the local newspaper, the Glen Ullin Times, for many years. She was a member of the Christian Mothers, Silver Hair Legislature, and Germans from Russia. Pauline is survived by her sons, Donald (Beverly) of Arkansas, Allan of Arkansas, Glenn (Pam) of Colorado, Wayne (Angie) of Colorado; daughters, Paulette (Ed) Schmidt of Dickinson, Laurie (Mark) Albers of Hannover, Mary (Tim) Ambrust of Fairfield; brother, Richard (Charlotte) Herz of Oregon; sisters, Loretta (Dave) Flom of Colorado, JoAnn (Glenn) Morman of Wishek; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; and siblings, Florence, Eugene, Edmond, Lillian, John and Clem.
