Funeral mass for Pauline Lantz, 93, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2022 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Ben Wanner celebrating. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. CT at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Stevenson Funeral Home with rosary and vigil held at 6:00 p.m.
Pauline passed away July 13, 2022 in Dickinson, ND.
Pauline Schulz was born October 9, 1928 in Richardton, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Kuntz) Schulz. She grew up and attended country school in Stark County. Pauline went to work as a Nurse Aid, for St. Joseph’s Hospital in 1949 and later was employed with Dickinson Clinic in 1953. Pauline married Albert Lantz in Richardton on May 21, 1951. The couple lived in Ozark, Alabama for a short time before making Dickinson their lifelong home. Their marriage was blessed with three sons, Wayne, Keith and Tim. Pauline was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, gardening, fishing and camping.
Pauline is survived by her sons, Wayne (Deborah) Lantz, Keith (Nancy) Lantz and Tim (Cheryl) Lantz of Dickinson; eight grandchildren, Brian (Alisha) Lantz, Jeremy (Mandie) Lantz, Rebekah Lantz and Joel (Alyson) Lantz, Brittany (Kyle) Wentz, Christina (Jimmy) Jorgensen, Rachel Lantz, Chelsey Lantz; ten great-grandchildren, Hayden, Riley, Colton, Layla, Marlee, Emma, Maci, Jenna, Grace, and Elsie; five sisters, Dolores (Elmer) Wiege, Gerry Grayson, Dorothy (Bernie) Buresh, Kate Lindemann, Inez (Merle) Haman, and; three brothers, Jim Schulz, Mike (Margaret) Schulz, and Ralph (Alice) Schulz; Brothers-in-law Chuck Hoff, Ralph Messmer, Fred Heidecker, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert (2018); siblings, Viola Sand, Elsie Maershbecker, Alfred Schulz, William Schulz, Agnes Heidecker, Gladys Rummel, Maryann Hoff, Bernice Harrington and Jackie Messmer.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to American Diabetes Association or the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Pine Room.
