Polly Stockert, 78, Dickinson, died Friday, May 12, 2006, at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9 a. m. , Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Austin Vetter celebrating. Interment will be 2 p. m. Tuesday, May 16, 2006, in the ND Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Monday at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a rosary and prayer service at 7 p. m. led by Deacons Ralph Stockert and Bob Stockert. Pauline Jaeger was born July 5, 1927, to Peter J. and Barbara (Stroh) Jaeger at the family home in Dunn County. On May 23, 1946, she married Chris G. Stockert at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Dickinson. Chris died on February 15, 1996. Polly enjoyed her grandchildren, baking, playing cards and watching the Minnesota Twins. Polly is survived by: her children, Marve (Libby) Stockert, Chicago, IL, Deborah (Mark) Kordon, Fairfield, ND, Kevin (Kim) Stockert, Dickinson, Jeff (Laura) Stockert, Aberdeen, SD, Pam (Tom) Dugan, Gillette, WY, Tammy (Tom) Thompson, Roseville, MN; 16 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Agnes Faiman, Dickinson, Angie (Don) Dire, Dickinson, Elaine (Jim McKonkee) Candee, Sacramento, CA, Diane (Jim) Douglas, Salt Lake City, UT; two brothers, Leo (Patti) Jaeger, Sacramento, CA, and Willard (Emma) Jaeger, Dickinson. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Peter and Barbara Jaeger; step-mother, Katherine Jaeger; husband, Chris; one son, Dennis; one granddaughter, Amanda Kordon and a brother-in-law, Fred Faiman. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Dickinson Catholic Schools, P. O. Box 1177, Dickinson, ND 58601.
