A Rosary and Memorial Service for Ralph Cooper, 75, of Dickinson, formerly of Baltimore, MD, will be 11:00 a. m. , Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Stevenson Funeral Home led by Thomas Hardcastle. In following Ralph’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation for Ralph will be from 10:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. , Saturday, February 20 at the Funeral Home. Ralph passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at his home in Dickinson with his family by his side. He was born in Baltimore, MD, the son of Nathaniel and Lydia (Branche) Cooper and grew up and attended school in the Baltimore area as well. After graduating high school, he spent most of his working years in retail sales. Ralph also spent time as a caregiver within the PACE organization as well as greeting at Walmart where he was known as the “candy-sticker man” to many. Ralph and Luann were married on June 7, 2007 in Lancaster, PA. In 2009, they moved to Dickinson to make their home. Ralph was very fond of Medora and enjoyed their drives together there. He also loved fishing and trips to New York. Ralph is survived by his wife, Luann Havelka-Cooper of Dickinson; his daughter, Jann Cooper and grandson, Josh of Annapolis, MD; and numerous step brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters.
