Funeral services for Ralph Raymond Duneman, 78, of Baker will be at 11:00 a. m. , Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at American Lutheran Church with Pastors Bruce and Reba Kolasch officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation for Ralph will be from 2:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. , Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Baker with a prayer service being held at 7:00 p. m. After a long battle with cancer, he met his Lord and Savior. Ralph passed away on January 8, 2015 at the Fallon County Medical Center. Ralph Raymond Duneman was born December 16, 1936 in Westmore, MT, the son of Earlen and Anna (Bolton) Duneman. He grew up and attended school in Westmore, later attending high school in Plevna and graduated in 1954. Ralph and Gloria Hoenke were united in marriage on August 22, 1954 in Plevna, MT. He met Gloria at Plevna High School in 1953 and said he had loved her since then. To this union four children were born: Terry, Steven, Mark and Susan. The family resided in Baker where Ralph worked for several years at the creamery. He then began work as a parts manager, becoming part owner of The Ford Garage until 1984. After working for Larry Greenlee Trucking for one year, he started R & G Oilfield which he operated until June of 2009 when he retired. As a young boy Ralph enjoyed playing football and basketball during high school. Over the years Ralph and Gloria enjoyed playing golf with friends as well as gardening and doing yard work. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play and participate in school Activities. When he couldn’t attend games, he listened to all Plevna and Baker games on the radio. He was a role model to all who knew him! He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease and give people a hard time to make them laugh. Ralph and Gloria enjoyed traveling to visit their children and grandchildren. In August of 2014, friends and family came together to celebrate the marriage of his granddaughter, Alyson to Kirk Lineback; and to celebrate Ralph and Gloria’s 60th wedding anniversary. Ralph had a strong faith and was a member of the American Lutheran Church where he served on the Parish Council and on the Church Council serving as President, Pastoral Selection Committee, and operated the equipment for the Radio Ministries. Ralph also was a member of Toastmasters International. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, racquetball, playing a round of golf, watching football (especially the Denver Broncos), reading and spending time with his family. Ralph is survived by his wife, Gloria of Baker; four children, Terry Curry of Baker, Steven (Karen) of Nixa, MO, Mark (Pam) of Willard, MO, and Susan (Dave) Delicath of Cheyenne, WY; eleven grandchildren, Clark (Brooke) Curry, Dane Curry, Alyson (Kirk) Lineback, Rick Odell, Meagan Duneman, Rachel Duneman, Cameron Duneman, Cody Duneman, Katie Delicath, Jacob Delicath, and Samuel Delicath; 3 great-grandchildren-Haylee, Rushton, and Frankie Curry and one on the way; brother, Arnold Duneman of Baker; sister, Evelyn Myer of Baker; and a son-in-law, Bob Curry, Baker, MT; a sister-in-law, Doris Benner of Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earlen and Anna Duneman; brothers, George Benner, and Kenneth Duneman; sister, Valentine (Toots) Shear; and sisters-in-law, Lorraine Duneman and Marion Duneman.
