The Mass of Christian Burial for Ramona Ehli, Dickinson, will be at 10:00 a. m. , Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Father Jeff Zwack celebrating. Interment will be in St. Joesph?s Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 9:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. , Monday, May 14, 2007 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a rosary and vigil service taking place at 7:00 p. m. Ramona passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Thursday, May 10, 2007. Ramona R. Ehli was born September 21, 1919 to Rudolph and Magdalena (Goetz) Olheiser in Sweet Briar, ND. She grew up in Dickinson, ND, attending school at St. Joseph?s Elementry and graduating from Dickinson High School in 1937. Ramona attended Bismarck Business college while working as a State Bank Examiner. She later moved to Couer D?Loune, ID were she woked at the Farragent Naval Base and then Shell Oil in Spokane, WA. She returned to Dickinson in 1944 and married Ralph C. Ehli on June 12th of that year. The couple made their home in Dickinson where they raised their seven children. When she could find time Ramona helped Ralph with his Tax work. In 1959 she began working as a secretary to the superindent of the Dickinson Public School District. Ramona worked there until her retirement in 1982. The couple was very fond of traveling to visit their children or to go on site seeing tours both home and abroad. Ramona enjoyed playing bridge with her friends as well as embroidery. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and Queen of Peace Church. Ramona was gift from God, she had a sweet smile and kind word for everyone she met?. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by three sons: James (Karin) Ehli of Dickinson; Bill (Ann) Ehli of Dickinson; Tom (Tess) Ehli of Dickinson; Four daughters: Patricia (Dan) Johnston of Sioux Falls, SD; Susan (Tom) Marman of Beach, ND; Sandra (Terry) Kundra of Green Valley, AZ; Mary Ann (Evan) Reisenauer of Dickinson; one brother Jack (Toshi) Olheiser of Portland, OR; Three sisters, Florence Lenhardt of Bismarck, ND; Sister Mary David Olheiser of St. Joseph, MN; Mary Kay (Mark) Christie of Baton Rouge, LA; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Ramona is preceded by both of her parents, her husband Ralph; two brothers, David and Francis Olheiser and a sister Margaret Herzog. The family suggest memorials to Queen of Peace Catholic Church Building Fund and St. Benedict?s Monastery, St. Joseph, MN.
