Randy Scott Pierce, affectionately known by many as Puppet or Fatty Cakes, passed away on August 15, 2024, in Bismarck, North Dakota, at the age of 52. Born on March 5, 1972, in Brainerd, Minnesota, Randy lived a life marked by deep family connections and a joyous spirit.
Randy graduated from Pillager High School but spent much of his life in Dickinson with his children. His love for his family was evident, as he cherished moments spent with his grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jessie; his children, Josh, Melanie, Wyatt, and Kayla (stepdaughter); who will hold dear the memory of his kind spirit and loving guidance. Randy was also a proud grandfather to his cherished grandchildren, Kiba and Crimson. His legacy extends to his siblings, Rodney Pierce, Linda Owen, Lee Pierce, Vernona Adams, Loren Pierce, Glen Pierce, and Mike Pierce, with whom he shared countless family gatherings and memories. Although most of his siblings reside in Minnesota, they, along with many nieces and nephews, felt his love across any distance.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Wilard Pierce; his nephew, Jordan Pierce; and his grandparents, who instilled in him the values he carried throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held in bMinnesota, with times to be determined, honoring Randy's life and the joy he brought to all who knew him. His family invites those who knew Randy to join in celebrating his legacy and the happiness he spread throughout his life.
