Raymond "Ray" Schwartz

Private Family services for Ray Schwartz, 90, of Hebron will take place with Stevenson Funeral Home.

Ray passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Marian Manor in Glen Ullin.

Raymond Lawrence Schwartz was born August 22, 1933 in Hebron to Nickolas and Barbara (Schneider) Schwartz. He attended Hebron High School. Ray married Virginia Heyd on June 15, 1954. They were blessed with three children; Jeffrey, Loran and Bonnie. Ray worked for various business and farms throughout the area. Ray was known for his carpentry work and sharing the bounty of his garden.

Ray is survived by children, Jeffrey (Roselyn) Schwartz and their children Kristi (Todd) Dutchuk, Mike (Tamey) Schwartz, Amy Schwartz-Jacobson and their families; daughter Bonnie (Andy) Howell and her child Tina (Jared) Bogenschutz and children. Ray and Virginia have eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; parents; all of his siblings; son Loran Schwartz; and great-grandson Dalton Dutchuk.
