Funeral Liturgy for Regina Reindel, 80, of Dickinson will be at 10:30 a. m. at St. Elizabeth?s Catholic Church, Lefor, ND with Fr. Basil Atwell officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth?s Catholic Cemetery in Lefor. Visitation will be from 12:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil Service taking place at 7:00 p. m. Regina passed away Monday, April 2, 2007 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Regina A. Reindel was born September 14, 1926 to Michael and Magdalena (Dassinger) Herold on the family farm southeast of Lefor. She grew up and attended school in Lefor. Regina continued helping on the farm after school and it was during this time that she met Michael W. Reindel. When Mike returned from World War II, he and Regina were married on September 4, 1945 at St. Elizabeth?s Catholic Church in Lefor. The couple made their home on the Reindel family farm. It was here that Regina and Mike worked side by side on the farm, while raising their family of 12 children. Regina moved to Dickinson and retired to Evergreen in January of 2005, and then later to St. Benedict?s Health Center in December of 2006. Regina loved spending time with family and friends and was always eager to play a game of cards with any of her visitors. She enjoyed gardening, baking and embroidery. Music was an important part of her life, whether listening, singing or teaching each of her children to dance to it. Regina was especially fond of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished holding each one of them. Regina was a member of St. Elizabeth?s Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth?s Christian Mothers, St. Joseph?s Verein, and the German-Hungarian Club. She is survived by her four sons, Dale (Elvera) Reindel of Dickinson, ND; Cary (Kathy) Reindel of Dickinson, ND; James Reindel of Ashton, IL; Michael (Judy) Reindel of Menoken, ND;and eight daughters, Bernnie (Dan) Linster of Bowbells, ND; Karen (Charles Placek) Gutenkunst of Bismarck, ND; Adela (Larry) Roller of Bismarck, ND; Cheryl (John) Lenhart of Minden, NV; Doreen (Reid) Rolshoven of Grand Forks, ND; Lorie Heinert (Travis Kirk) of Shakopee, MN; Lynae Oberholtzer of Great Falls, MT; Mary (Arvid) Hecker of Belfield, ND; two brothers, John (Pauline) Herold of Lefor, ND; Joe (Phyllis) Herold of Dickinson, ND; and four sisters, Maggie (Martin) Kuhn of Dickinson, ND; Rose (Roy) Carlson of Sun City West, AZ; Evelyn Herold of Dickinson, ND; Angie Nuss of Dickinson, ND; 34 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in Death by both of her parents, her husband, Mike; one brother, George Herold; three sisters, Katherine Wanner, Betty Gerber-Hammel, Frances Lawrence; and one great-grandson, Trevor Wilson.
