Reginald “Clark” Hurt, 77, of Killdeer, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer. In accordance with Clark’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Reginald Clark Hurt was born June 17, 1940 in Maryland, the son of John and Irma (Clark) Hurt. He grew up on a dairy farm and attended school nearby. After graduating from high school, Clark enlisted in the United States Army. He lived in various locations in Pennsylvania, California and Washington; eventually settling in North Dakota for the past ten years. Throughout the years, Clark worked in construction, real estate and home inspection. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved painting scenery and could often be found working in his garden. Clark was a talented woodworker and spent time on various projects as he was able.
Clark is survived by his children, Regina (Delbert) Jardee and Joe (Rose) Hurt both of Killdeer, Sabring Lynd of California, Jennifer Hurt, Sherry Hurt and Jasmine Hurt all of Washington; granddaughter, Kathryn Jardee and Katie Hurt both of Killdeer; brothers, John George Hurt and Robert Wayne Hurt; sister, Jean Bouie; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
