Funeral Services for Richard L. Dick, Price, 70, of Billings, MT, formerly of Baker, MT, will be 2:00 p. m. , Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at the Baker Community Church in Baker, MT, with Rev. Mark D. Arnold officiating.

Interment will follow in the Price family lot in the Bonnievale Cemetery at Baker. Visitation will be 2:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, and will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Dick passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010, at the Billings Health and Rehabilitation Community in Billings, MT.

Richard Lewellyn Price was born in Miles City, MT, on April 15, 1940, a son of Lewellyn "Bud" and Jessie (Hodges) Price. Dick grew up in Baker where he attended school and graduated from Baker High School. At the age of 12, Dick was sickened with measles and polio, and at 21, he had one of his kidneys removed. Following graduation, Dick attended MSU and EMC before returning to Baker. Dick married Linda Giesick on November 25, 1967, at Billings, MT. To this union, four children were born: Thomas, William, Scott and Michelle. Dick joined his father, Bud, in the family business, L. Price Company. Together he and Bud co-managed the business with Dick heading the John Deere Machinery line. Dick managed the business until 1985. In 1987, Dick and Linda moved to Billings. He attended Dawson Community College and later MSU-Billings where he obtained a B. S. Degree in Business Administration in 1989. Dick returned to Baker in 1996 to help care for his father. Following Bud?s death, he moved back to Billings, where he made his home until his death.
While living in Baker, Dick was very active in the community. He was a member of the Baker Lions Club, O'Fallon Museum, O'Fallon Community Choir, Bonnievale Cemetery Board, Baker Boy Scouts, and was a past President of the Montana Hardware and Implement Dealers Association. He belonged to the Baker Community Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Sandstone Masonic Lodge, where he served as Worshipful Master in 1978.
Dick is survived by his three children, Thomas L. (Jackie) Price, Denver, CO, William R. (Darline) Price, Bakersfield, CA, and Michelle (Eric) Fox, Bakersfield, CA; six grandchildren, Aidan Price, Joshua Price, Jacob Price, Leilani Price, Cheyenne Fox, and Sierra Fox; and his two brothers, Jim Price, Denver, CO, and Lew (Betty) Price, Burnsville, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Jessie; and his son, Scott. The family has requested that memorials be made to the Baker Community Church.
