Liturgy of the word for Richard Rohr, 96, of Dickinson will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Burial will follow at Gladstone Cemetery.
Visitation for Richard will be from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary being held at 1:00 p.m.

Richard passed away, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson.
Richard was born August 20, 1924 in Gladstone to Anton and Anna (Herr) Rohr. He grew up and helped on the family farm. He married Violet Wetch on October 16, 1947. To this union five children were born; Glen, Timothy, Thomas, Pamela and Rick. The couple raised their children North of Gladstone until Violet’s passing in 1959. Richard married Angie Wetch on February 27, 1960. Together they added two more children to their family; Kim and Kevin. Richard and his family moved to Dickinson in 1960 and he began working for the Clay Plant. Due to injuries he began working as a driver for the Bismarck Tribune. Richard loved going to auctions. He was a collector of many things, especially Bells and Dalmatians. Richard loved to make people laugh and was known for his witty sense of humor. Richard was a member of the Eagles and German Hungarian Club. He will be deeply missed.
Richard is survived by his children, Tom (Debbie) Rohr of Tyler, TX, Pamela Rohr-Pavlicek of Dickinson, Kim (Carla) Rohr of Folsom, CA, Kevin Rohr of Dickinson; sister, Charlene Frank, Glendive, MT; 10 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister-in-laws, LaVerne Haugen of Mandan, Gwen Wenger of Mandan, Linda Himmelspach of Marshall, MN, Tammie Anderson of Mandan; brother-in-law, Floyd Wetch of San Diego, CA; numerous nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by wives, Violet Rohr, Angie Rohr; parents; Anton and Anna Rohr; sons, Glen Rohr, Tim Rohr, Rick Rohr; brother; Victor Rohr; sisters, Lena Martin, Alvina Messmer, Viola Sickler, Sue Meissner, Ann Hollinger, Margaret Martin, Christina Messmer, Janet Sickler.
