Richard William Zeuschner “Bill”, 76, of Prescott WA (previously of Plevna, MT) died Sept. 14, 2004 at his home in Prescott WA. Bill was born Dec. 29, 1927 in Helena, Montana to William Richard and Nellie M.(Gregory) Zeuschner. On Oct. 8, 1957 he married the love of his life, Iris Loretta Pfohl in Livingston, Montana. Together they were blessed with six beautiful daughters and a very special foster son David. Bill was a World War II Veteran, serving in the U. S. Navy from 1946 to 1948. He also had a lifelong career as a long-haul truck driver. Bill is preceded in death by his wife Iris Zeuschner on Feb. 29, 2000. Survivors include his sons, Rick Zeuschner and wife Joyce of Bronaugh, Missouri, Mike Carter of Baker, MT, and foster son David Anderson of Spokane WA; his seven daughters and their spouses, Karen and Tommy Hawkins of Molt MT, Shirley and Doug Lindstrom of Waitsburg WA, Debi and Doyle Tiedemann of Prescott WA, Michelle and Ken Johnson of Soldotna Alaska, Leslie and John Miller of Florence MT, Kathy and Tim Schwindt of Baker MT, Stella and Joe Briganti of Atwater California; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bill will forever be remembered by everyone that knew and loved him for his quiet and warm smile that could brighten anyone?s day. A memorial service was held in Prescott WA. Saturday, September 18th from 12-5pm. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Monday, September 20, at the Plevna Community Cemetery in Plevna. Stevenson Funeral Home of Baker is in charge of the arrangements.
