Risper passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Dickinson.
Risper Wambui Chuma was born February 2, 1989 to Philip and Margaret (Wairimu) Chuma in Nakuru, Kenya. She graduated from Kaplong High School in 2007. After High School she attended United States International University in Kenya. Risper then transferred to Dickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota where she majored in finance. While attending college, Risper met Stephen Ngunjiri. The couple married in 2017, in Kenya and were blessed with two daughters, Myrania and Ella. Risper was currently working at Stark County Correctional Center and Adventure Academy.
Risper enjoyed swimming, watching different television series, and making YouTube tutorial videos on how to take care of babies and facial make up among other topics.
Risper is survived by her husband, Stephen Githinji Ngunjiri; daughters, Myrania Kayla Nyambura Githinji and Ella Rose Wairimu Githinji; parents Philip and Margaret Chuma; brothers Stephen Chuma, Ashton Chuma (Susan Gachunji) and Risper’s nephews, Tristan and Tyrell; grandmother Elishpha Mburu; mother-in-law, Joyce Ngunjiri; sisters-in-law, Carol Ngunjiri and her daughter, Arianna, and Miriam Ngunjiri; brother-in-law, Newton (Jaqueline Muchoki) Ngunjiri, and their sons, Benjamin and Caleb.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law John Githinji Ngunjiri.
