Robert Klein

Robert L. ?Bob? Klein, Sr., 55, Dickinson, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2006 at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Dennis Schafer celebrating. Interment will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2006 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a prayer service, music and sharing of memories at 4 p.m.


Robert Klein was born March 13, 1950, in Dickinson to John Jr. and Lillian (Schmidt) Klein. He attended St. Joseph?s Catholic School and graduated from Stanton High School in 1970. He lived most of his life in Dickinson. Bob married Vickie Heiman on December 1, 1972 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson. They divorced in 1986. He loved music and played the drums in several bands. Bob was a member of the Prairie Rose Center. He worked as a cook and carpet installer.


He is survived by: Vickie, Jamestown, ND; his five sons, Jason, Dickinson, currently stationed in Balad, Iraq, Michael (Laura Cantrell), Denver, CO, Robert Lee, Jr. (fianc?e Shyloh Moran), Jamestown, ND, Devon and Tristan, both of Denver, CO; one grandson, Kaleb John Klein, Jamestown, ND; his brothers and sisters, Loretta (Clyde) Boyko, Stanton, ND, Joann Fortier, Billings, MT, Jim (Alice) Klein, Yakima, WA, Theodore (Myra) Klein, Dickinson, ND, Bernadette Seagrave, Federal Way, WA, Mary Ann (Vince) Donovan, North Babylon, NY, John A. Klein, Dickinson, ND, Jane Aragon (Ken Bentley), Longmont, CO, Timothy (Vivian) Klein, Dickinson, ND, Dale (Sue) Klein, Omaha, NE, Gale Westrum, Dickinson, ND, Carol (Doug) Rambousek, Dickinson, ND, and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.


He was preceded in death by: his parents, and one brother, Terrance Klein.
