Robert Krenz

A memorial service for Robert Krenz, 81, of New England will be 1:00 p. m. , Friday, April 12, 2013 at Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel in Dickinson with Father Biju Chitteth celebrating. Burial will be at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New England.


Robert passed away April 2, 2013 at St. Benedict’s Living Center, Dickinson.


Robert was born April 12, 1931 to August P. Krenz and Lillian (Bilges) Krenz at DeSart, North Dakota. In 1989 he married Margaret Anton. He worked as a farm laborer for several area farmers. In his later years, he worked for the city of New England. Due to failing health, he spent the past several months at St. Benedict’s Health Center in Dickinson.


Robert is survived by two sisters, Ruth Williams of Anaconda, Montana and Theresa Tarpo of New England, North Dakota, sister-in-law, Delores Krenz of Dickinson; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loyal friend, Duane Wobig of New England.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, three brothers and spouses, Milo (Gwen), Harvey (Christine) and Hubert; two brothers-in-law, Chris Tarpo and Lester Williams; two nephews, Paul Tarpo and Dale Williams.
