Liturgy of the Word for Robert ?Bob? Meissner, 53, of Dickinson will be at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Ron Keller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick?s Cemetery. Visitation for Bob will be from 9:00 a. m. to 2:00 p. m. , Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Bob passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at his home in Dickinson after suffering from a long illness. Robert was born February 4, 1958 in Dickinson, the son of Lawrence and Hilda (Renner) Meissner. Bob was raised in the Dickinson area. He worked as a painter. Bob enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. He had a special love for dogs and leaves behind his dog Jake. Bob is survived by one brother, Darrell (Glow) Meissner, Springfield, OR; four sisters, Dorothy (Cal) Heinle, Dickinson, ND, Mary (Walter) Macias, San Antonio, TX, Corey (Kirk) Genco, Kingsville, MD, and Cindy Waller, Bismarck, ND; and 9 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
