Roberta Johnson

Roberta Johnson, age 77, of Killdeer, ND passed away Sunday, December 1, 2002, at the Hill Top Home of Comfort. Funeral Services are Friday, December 6, 2002, 2:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel with Pastor Aanen Gjovik officiating. Interment will follow at Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 p. m. to 9:00 pm. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Roberta, daughter of Andrew and Edna (Davis) Johnson was born on April 30, 1924 in Werner, ND. She was raised at home until the age of 10 at which time she attended the State School in Grafton, ND. She remained there until 1975 when she moved to the Southview Group Home in Dickinson. In 1988, she moved in to a foster home living here until moving to Hill Top Home of Comfort, Killdeer in 1993 where, Roberta resided till the time of her passing. Roberta loved to sing and had the good old hymns memorized and where ever she worshiped Roberta was devoted to singing the songs. Roberta was out going and enjoyed the companionship of others. Roberta is survived by two sisters, Gertie Markham, Dallas, TX, Ruby Grady, Richland, WA, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and four brothers.
