A Funeral Mass for Rocky Jablonsky, 54, of Johnstown, CO, formerly of Belfield, ND will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 10:00 a. m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, ND with Father Todd Kreitinger celebrating. A Rosary & Vigil service will be Monday, September 21, 2015 at 6:30 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND. Rocky Jablonsky went into the arms of our Lord, on September 13, 2015 in Loveland, Co. Rock Allan Jablonsky was born November 29, 1960 in Dickinson, ND to Albert & Elayne Jablonsky. He grew up in Belfield, ND. He graduated from Belfield High School in 1979. A highlight of his high school years, was playing in the 1978 Class B Basketball Tournament with Belfield finishing as State Runners Up. Rocky married Irene Corona Mendez on July 30, 2004 in Corpus Christi, TX. Rocky often referred to the second phase of his life becoming fulfilled when he met and married his soul mate Irene. Children, Johnette Jablonsky was born March 1, 1994 and Schanen Mendez came into Rocky’s life through his loving marriage to Irene. Becoming a Grandpa was another highlight in his life, when Evelyn Alice Obrigewitch arrived, February 28, 2013. Rocky was part of Missouri Basin Incorporated for 30 plus years with the past 5 years, as Operations Manager in Pleasanton, TX and Nunn, CO. He was forever grateful for the kind consideration MBI gave to him for many years. Rocky, “the stubborn Pollock” had hobbies that included puzzles, reading (very much a history buff), baseball, basketball and football. He was a die-hard Heart River Cougars, Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan and an avid golfer. He had a huge heart for dogs and cats. He was quite the jokester and had nicknames for everyone he knew. Those nicknamed, would even answer when addressed with their new names. He will be missed by all!!!!Rocky is survived by his wife, Irene, Johnstown CO; daughters, Johnette, Dickinson, ND; and Schanen, Johnstown, CO; granddaughter, Evelyn, Dickinson, ND; sisters, Deb Allard, Minot, ND, Tammy (Jim), Bismarck, ND, Robin (Wendell), Velva, ND, and Traci (Clyde), Faulkton, SD; brother- in-law, Michael (Angela) Corona, Corpus Christi, TX; sister-in-law, Carol (Frank) Romel, Corpus Christi, TX; step-mother, Carol Jablonsky, Belfield, ND; mother-in-law, Irene Hyder, Corpus Christi, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Elayne; brother-in-law, Allen Allard; and father-in- law, Mike Corona; paternal and maternal grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles. Donations can be made in memory of Rocky to Sherry’s Wishes Foundation, Dickinson, ND.
