Rodrick Strait

Rodrick Scott Strait Was born September 27, 1964 in Ekalaka MT. To Francis Strait Junior and Barbara (Mulkey) Strait. He attended school in Ekalaka where he graduated high school in 1983. Rod worked our jobs, bartending in Ekalaka for his aunt Vivian Mulkey and in Broadus also. He delivered propane and worked for powder River County as a blade operator. But his real passion was being a truck driver like his father. So he started Strait trucking and was living his dream.

Rod passed away on January 23, 2021 due to long health issues. He is survived by his sons Randy and Andrew Strait, His brother Lee Strait of Baker Montana, his sister Jean Kuntz of Lolo Montana and Minnie aunts uncles nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Francis Junior, his younger sister, Rhoda Strait, and his mother Barbara.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial and internment will be scheduled at a later date.
