Roger Dean Allen was born January 16, 1936 in Lead, South Dakota to Sidney W. and Ferne O. Allen. He grew up in Spearfish, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Sidney W. and Ferne O. Allen and grandparents, Hans and Addie Nelson. He is survived by: one sister, Jayne Dodson, Sturgis, SD and one brother, Richard Allen, Forest Lake, MN.
