Roger Heinle

Roger C. Heinle, 72, of rural Glen Ullin, died Friday, November 7, 2008 at his farm home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Central time on Friday, November 14, 2008 at the Evangelical Congregational Church in Glen Ullin with the Rev. Bill Bradley, officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Spangelo Funeral Home in Glen Ullin after 4:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Burial will be in the Glen Ullin Cemetery. Roger was born November 6, 1936 at Glen Ullin, the son of Theodore and Edna (Metzger) Heinle. He was raised on the farm and educated at Glen Ullin School. He graduated in 1954. Following his education, Roger worked in road construction for many summers, while farming. Roger was once a member of the Glen Ullin Fire District board. Farming became his way of life, especially working with his cattle. Roger never really retired as he still has a few head of cattle on the farm. Roger is survived by his two sons: Todd (Faith) Heinle, and their two children, Chad and Doug, all of Mandan; and Kent Heinle, Dickinson. He was preceded in death by his parents
