Funeral Services for Rose E. Dvorak, 98, of Dickinson is 1:00 p. m. on Friday, January 30, 2004 at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel with Father Jerry Kautzman, celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 9:00 a. m. to 3:30 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel continuing from 4:00 p. m. to 4:30 p. m. at St. Benedict?s Health Center resuming at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel at 5:00 p. m. with a rosary and vigil being said at 7:00 p. m. led by Deacon Gene Morman. Rose passed away on Monday, January 26, 2004 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Rose was born March 30, 1905 in Stark County, North Dakota to Joseph and Caroline (Lipenski) Kadrmas. She remained in Stark County attending school and marrying Joe E. Dvorak on June 27, 1927. Together they farmed in the Manning area until 1949. She worked for Woolworth in Dickinson until retiring at the age of 62. When she retired Rose loved to embroider and especially liked giving her homemade gifts to her children and grandchildren. Rose is survived by her sons, Donald (Carol) Dvorak of Albany, OR, Raymond (Lidwina) Dvorak, of Belle Fourche, SD, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, two step great great grandchildren. Her parents, husband, Joe, daughter, Blanche Dvorak, seven brothers and four sisters preceded Rose in death.
