Funeral Mass for Rose Faiman, 96, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. , Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church with Rev. Todd Kreitinger celebrating. Entombment will be in the Dickinson Mausoleum. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 12:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Rosary and Vigil Service being held at 7:00 p. m. , at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 a. m. to 9:00 a. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home. Rose passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in Bismarck, ND. Rose Adamski was born on December 22, 1914 the daughter of Lucas and Albina (Jilek) Adamski in Dunn County. She grew up and attended school at New Hradec. As a young lady Rose worked at Adamski grocery store in South Heart and New Hradec for several years. Rose was married to Joe Faiman on January 11, 1940 at the St. Mary?s Catholic Church in South Heart. Together they lived on the family farm for several years before moving to Killdeer, ND. They later purchased their own farm and made their home there until retiring to Dickinson in 1973. Rose was a member of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church and was very devoted to the Divine Mercy and Catholic Daughters. She was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and Good Sam?s Club. Together Rose and Joe enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing and especially getting together with family and friends to play cards. Joe and Rose took a cruise to the Caribbean which was a highlight for them. She loved to play the keyboard and entertain for anyone. Her last performance was last September at Edgewood Vista. Survivors include, her four children, Donna Cercone, Aurora, CO, Kenneth (Jeanne) Faiman, Fargo, ND, Glenn (Diane) Faiman, Bismarck, ND and Jolette (Jim) zumBrunnen, Fort Collins, CO; ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Jewel Adamski, She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe, seven siblings, Joe, Mary Buresh, Tony, John, Laudie, Frank Adamski and Dorothy Perdaems.
