Rose Gunsch

Rose Marie Gunsch, 92, Bismarck, died Thursday, December 23, 2004, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck. Funeral services will be 2 p. m. Monday, December 27, 2004, at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson, with Pastor Ilo Madden officiating. Interment will be in Dickinson Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be Monday from noon to 2 p. m. at Price-Murphy Funeral Home. Marie Wentz was born June 16, 1912, in Streeter to George and Margaretha (Graff) Wentz. She attended school in Streeter. Marie married Otto Gunsch September 5, 1935 in Streeter. They moved to Dickinson in 1955 and opened Service Drug. Otto died in 1964. She was a member of First Congregational-United Church of Christ, Eastern Star and American Legion Auxillary. Marie enjoyed baking and cooking for her family, knitting, fishing, playing cards and bingo. Marie Gunsch is survived by: her sons, Merle Gunsch, Lewistown, Mont. and Richard (Marilyn) Gunsch, Bismarck, ND; daughter, Kathy Decker, Colorado Springs, Colo. ; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; brothers and sisters, Martha George, Bismarck, Ed (Bev) Wentz, Sun City, Ariz. , Ione Schwartzwalter, Fargo, Ray (Lois) Wentz, Jamestown, LeRoy (Velma) Wentz, Lemmon, SD and LoEtta Feigert, Bismarck. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Otto Gunsch; five brothers and two sisters.
