Rose Hauck

Funeral Mass for Rose Marie Hauck, 86, of Dickinson, formerly of Richardton, will be 9:30 a. m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richardton, ND with Father Thomas Wordekemper OSB celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 8:30 a. m. to 9:30 a. m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Church, with a Rosary taking place at 9:00 a. m. Rose Marie passed away, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. Rose Marie was born January 19, 1930, the daughter of Mike and Tillie (Fleckenstein) Hauck. She grew up on the family farm north of Richardton and attended the Germanie School District #1. In 1949, she moved into Richardton with her parents. Due to health complications from Typhoid Fever, Rose Marie lived in care facilities most of her life. St. Luke’s became her home in 2010. Rose Marie loved music (especially Old Time music), singing and playing the organ by ear. She loved her faith and led a faith-filled life. Rose Marie was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Richardton and she became an oblate of St. Benedict Assumption Abbey. Rose Marie also loved spending time with her families. Rose Marie is survived by her sister-in-law, Millie Hauck; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Tillie Hauck; brother, Adam; sisters, Minnie (Leo) Gress and Helen (Ted) Kubisiak.
