Funeral Mass for Rose Mary Kobilansky, 81, Glen Ullin, will be 10:00 a. m. CST, Monday, November 14, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glen Ullin with Father Arul Joseph celebrating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Glen Ullin. Visitation for Rose Mary will be from 3:30 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. CST, Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glen Ullin, with a prayer service taking place at 4:00 p. m. CST. Rose Mary passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck. Rose Mary Kronberger was born in Glen Ullin on June 16, 1930, the daughter of Michael and Barbara (Eichoff) Kronberger. She was raised and educated in the Almont area. On November 24, 1952 she married Frank Kobilansky in New Salem. Following marriage, they made their home in Glen Ullin. Rose Mary taught school for a total of 45 years. Her first 17 years of teaching, which she loved, were in a one-room country school. The remaining 28 years were in Glen Ullin. Rose Mary was involved in the Sacred Heart Christian Mothers, North Dakota Education Association, Delta Kappa Gamma, Glen Ullin Library and Glen Ullin Historical Society. She loved to spend time reading, often reading a book every two days. Rose Mary was a gracious hostess who always had the coffee pot on. Rose Mary is survived by two daughters, Karen Kobilansky, Hettinger and Linda (Bernard) Kanenwisher, Phoenix, AZ; one grandson, Dennis, Phoenix, AZ; one brother, John Kronberger, Almont; one sister, Barbara (Kronberger) Ormiston, Mandan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank; five brothers, Joe, Peter, Nick, Mike, and Ernest; five sisters, Anna Keller, Ida, Vivian Gullickson, Shirley Becher, and DeLores Willman.
