Rose Leintz, 73, Glen Ullin, formerly of Richardton, died Monday, July 21, 2003, at MedCenter One, Bismarck. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p. m. , Friday, July, 25, 2003, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Richardton, with Rev. Brian Wangler, O. S. B. celebrating. Interment will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Richardton. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a. m. to 3 p. m. at Price-Murphy Funeral Home and will continue at 4 p. m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Richardton. A rosary will be said at 8 p. m. at the Church. Rose Hauck was born October 2, 1929, to Balzer and Amelia (Dick) Hauck, south of Richardton. She moved with her family to a farm near Grassy Butte for a short time before attending school in Towner. In 1947, the family moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Rose enrolled in the Sisterhood of Notre Dame. Thereafter, she worked at a shoe factory for five years. In 1954, Rose married Max Leintz in Milwaukee. They made their home in Richardton and together they raised six children. Max died July 17, 1992. She loved music, quickpoint crafting, embroidering, and crocheting. She was a resident volunteer and served on the resident council at St. Benedict?s Health Center. Rose is survived by her children: Jim (Karen), Gladstone, Roger, Williston, Janice (Jack) Berger, Hebron, Leroy (Rita), Huron, S. D. , Linda Mayer, Dickinson; one daughter-in-law, Lori Leintz, Bismarck; 14 grandchildren, Twila (Mitch) Wanner, Tyler (Deni) and Travis (Michelle) Leintz, Katrina Bryant, Rustee Leintz, Jayson, Robin and Summer Berger, Sonya, Jarvis and Cody Leintz, Sidney, Stuart and Lance Mayer; four step grandchildren, Nathan Lampl, Christopher and Amanda Steckler, and LaShia Cahow; three great-grandchildren, Colton Leintz, Kobe Wanner and Tyson Bryant; one brother, Adam Hauck; four sisters, Christine Leintz, Viola Hanke, Eleanor Parkos, Mary Bandler; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Max; one son, Raymond; one granddaughter, Roxanne Mayer; four brothers, Pius, Frank, Leo, and Tommy; and one sister, Cecilia Leintz.
