Rose Reiter

Rose Reiter, 85, Dickinson, died Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Funeral services will be 2:30 p. m. , Tuesday, September 7, 2004, at St. Luke?s Home, Dickinson, with Rev. Joseph Howlett, officiating. Interment will be in Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be one half hour prior to the service at St. Luke?s Home. Rose Schwartz was born January 11, 1919 in Fayette, ND to William J. and Hedwig (Steffan) Schwartz. Rose attended schools in Dickinson to the sixth grade. She married Anton Reiter on August 29, 1951. Anton died April 5, 2004. Rose loved bingo and her special stuffed toys. She is survived by: one brother, Otto (Mildred) Schwartz, Missoula, Mont. , two brothers-in-law, William Reiter and Ras (Jan) Reiter, both of Dickinson; one sister-in-law, Josephine Highness, Dickinson. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; three brothers, William, Walter and Herman Schwartz.
