Rose Tibor, age 97, of the St. Benedict Health Care Center in Dickinson and formerly of Hebron, ND, died Sunday, February 05, 2006 at St. Benedict?s. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 11:30 AM CENTRAL TIME at St. Ann?s Catholic Church in Hebron with Father Sebastian Schmidt, OSB as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Ann?s Cemetery in Hebron. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, at St. Ann?s with the Vigil services at 7:00 PM. Rose was born December 9, 1908, on a farm near Dickinson, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Roether) Loran. She grew up and was educated south of Richardton. She married Steve Tibor on November 21, 1936. In 1950 they adopted their daughter Rita. Besides being a great cook, baker, gardener and farmers with, she enjoyed carpentry, making small cupboards and household items out of apple and orange crates, and scrap lumber. Steve died June 22, 1983. She was a member of the Brick City Senior Citizens and the Christian Mothers. Rose continued to reside in Hebron until she entered the St. Benedict Health Care Center. Those left to share in her memory include her daughter Rita Kuntz and her husband Gary of Castle Rock, CO, and three grandchildren, Rosanne, Steven, and Katrina, and one sister: Marion Bingert, Hebron, ND. She was preceded in death parents, three brothers, and six sisters.
