Rudolph Wanner

Rudolph was born on October 16, 1915, in Glen Ullin, ND to Emmanuel and Monica (Glasser) Wanner. He attended county school near Mott. In 1936, Bishop Wehre united in holy matrimony Magdalena Bleth and Rudolph Wanner in Bismarck, ND. Rudolph worked to help build Heart Butte Dam, farmed various farms and later worked for the Husky Briquetting Plant. He retired in the mid 1970?s. Magdalena died on May 2, 2000. Rudolph was a member of St. Wenceslaus Church and a Golden Eagle member of the Eagles Club. Rudolph loved playing cards, trips to Deadwood, watching wrestling, traveling and site seeing. Rudolph is survived by: one daughter and care giver, Monica (George) Vrana, Dickinson; one son, Joseph D. (Linda) Wanner, Gladstone; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Magdalena Greff, Bismarck and one brother, George Wanner, Bismarck. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sons, one daughter, four brothers and two sisters.
