Rudy Garcia

A funeral service for Rudy Garcia, 22, of Dickinson will be 1:00 p. m. , Monday, January 9, 2017 at Stevenson Funeral Home. Family services will take place in California at a later date. Visitation for Rudy will be 10:00 a. m. – 1:00 p. m. prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Rudy passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017. Rudy was born June 10, 1994 in El Monte, CA, the son of Imelda Nunez and Johnny Garcia. He grew up in Boulder City, NV where he attended and graduated from high school. Rudy enjoyed playing football and wrestling for the BCHS Eagles. In 2013, he, his mother and three siblings moved to Dickinson. Rudy worked in the oilfield and most recently as a cook at Buffalo Wild Wings. Rudy always had a smile and kept his family and friends happy. He was very talented in performing light shows for his family and friends. He was also a great artist and enjoyed making tattoos. Rudy’s son, Isaiah, was the joy of his life. Rudy will be remembered for his smile that always seemed to light up all situations and brighten everyone’s day. Rudy is survived by his son, Isaiah; mother, Imelda Nunez; father, Johnny Garcia; grandmothers, Mercedes and Martha; brothers, Johnny, Ruben, Anthony; sisters, Jazmine, Alyssa, Deserie, and Chantell.
