A memorial service for Russell Heinle, 72, of Hebron will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Hebron with Pastor David Ling officiating. Inurnment will follow at the church cemetery. By his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Visitation for Russell will be held an hour before the service at the church.
Russell passed away on October 6, 2024, at his home.
Russell Reinhardt was born on May 4, 1952, in Richardton, the son of Reinhardt and Hilda (Kitzan) Heinle. Growing up, Russell lived on his family farm south of Hebron and, attended Hebron Public School and graduated in 1970. After graduation, Russ worked for Peavey Elevator Company, later known as Modern Grain, in Hebron. On September 19, 1981, Russell married Bonnie Nolte in Hebron. Their marriage was blessed with a son, Shane. After 20 years at the Elevator, Russ became the City of Hebron Supervisor for 10 years and then an Equipment Operator for Morton Co. until he retired in 2016.
Russ was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hebron and a past member of the Hebron Lions and Fire Department.
Russ enjoyed spending time at the Hebron Senior Center playing cards and bingo. He enjoyed telling stories, and spending time with his family and friends. Whether you knew it or not, he was always lending a helping hand.
Russ will be remembered for the love he showed his grandsons, who were his pride and joy.
Russell is survived by his wife, Bonnie; son, Shane (Lydia) of Thief River Falls, MN; grandsons, Zachary and Parker Heinle; sisters-in-law, Mary Jean and Renae Heinle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reinhardt and Hilda; and brothers, Wellde and Wesley Heinle.
