Ruth Breding, 89, Dickinson, died Sunday, December 12, 2004, at St. Luke?s Home, Dickinson. Funeral services will be 2 p. m. Friday, December 17, 2004, at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson, with Pastor Noel Vold officiating. Interment will be 2 p. m. (central time) Saturday, December 18, 2004, in Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Powers Lake, ND. Visitation will be 10:30 a. m. to 11 a. m. Thursday, December 16, 2004 at St. Luke?s Home, Dickinson. Visitation will continue at 12 noon to 5 p. m. Thursday at Price-Murphy Funeral Home. Ruth Moody was born January 19, 1915, in Battleview, ND to Otto and Hilma (Morrau) Moody. She graduated from Powers Lake High School. Ruth married Daniel Breding on June 9, 1936, in Powers Lake. They lived in Powers Lake where their children were born. In 1951, they moved to Kenmare where they operated Breding?s Hardware. Later, Dan and Ruth were administrators of the Baptist Home in Kenmare. They retired and moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1976. Dan died in 1986. Ruth moved to Dickinson in 1997. Ruth was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Powers Lake, ND and attended Our Saviour?s Lutheran Church, Dickinson. Ruth is survived by: her children, Kay (Clifford) Netz, Maple Grove, MN, C. Daniel Breding, Aurora, CO and Claudia Jacobsen, Dickinson; six grandchildren, Vincent Netz, Charlotte (Ken) Sortedahl, Paul Breding, Pamela (John) Gelwick, Christine (John) Wegh, and Tim Jacobsen; six great grandchildren, Nicholas and Sarah Sortedahl, Shannon and Jessica Wegh, Allison and Nicholas Gelwick, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; brother, Sidney Moody; and sister, Alice Piper. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred, which will be donated in Ruth?s memory.
