Ruth Kinnischtzke, age 83, of Glen Ullin, died Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the Marian Manor Health Care Center in Glen Ullin. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 10:30 AM Central Time at the St. John Church in Hebron. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2007 from 4 ? 8 pm at the Spangelo Funeral Home in Glen Ullin where a Prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery in Hebron. Ruth was born March 11, 1924, on the farm north of Glen Ullin, the daughter of Jacob B. and Christianna (Ritter) Voegele. She was raised on the farm and attended school at Frazer District #1. Ruth worked in a grocery store in Beulah until her marriage. On November 4, 1947 she married Oscar Kinnishtzke at the Glueckstahl Church north of Glen Ullin. Following marriage they began their life on the farm. They retired in 1973 and moved into Glen Ullin in 1977. Ruth enjoyed her garden and flowers, making loom rugs, and to bake Christmas cookies. She was a member of the St. John Church, the Women?s Guild, and the Haymarsh Homemakers, and a longtime volunteer at the Marian Manor Nursing Home. Grateful for having shared in her life are her sons Duwayne and his wife Joan, of Glen Ullin, Allan of Glen Ullin, and her daughter Darlene Kinnischtzke of Bismarck, her brothers, Eugene Voegele, Beulah, ND, Milton and Alvin Voegele, both of Bismarck, and one uncle Fred Voegele, of Bismarck. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on November 25, 1978, and four brothers: Ted, Bill, Otto and Dan.
