Ruth Mohl, 81, Dickinson, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Funeral services are 10 a. m. Friday, May 27, 2005, at Peace Lutheran Church, Dickinson, with Rev. Steve Schou, officiating. Interment will be in Dickinson Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be 5 p. m. to 9 p. m. , Thursday at Price-Murphy Funeral Home and will continue Friday one hour prior to the service at the church. Ruth Schultz was born November 29, 1923 in Hebron, ND to Alexander and Elizabeth (Mees) Schultz. She attended school in Zap and Beulah. On January 12, 1941, she married Erhardt Mohl at Zion Lutheran Church in Beulah. They made their home in Zap where Erhardt worked at the Zap mine. In 1947, they purchased a farmstead north of Zap and made it their home for 43 years. In 1990, they retired into Dickinson. They were members of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Zap, where she was involved with the Ladies Aid and was a Sunday School Teacher. She was also a member of the Zap Homemakers Club and Peace Lutheran Church in Dickinson. Ruth enjoyed cooking, embroidering, crocheting, and painting. She is survived by: her husband, Erhardt, Dickinson, ND; three daughters, JoAnn (James) Boehm, Mandan, ND, Darla (Scott) Hoffmann, Dickinson, ND, Lisa (Lee) Scott, Zap, ND; one son, Ricky (Linda) Mohl, Zap, ND; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Donald (Orleen) Schultz, Bismarck, ND. She was preceded in death by: her parents and two brothers, James and Kenneth.
