Ruth Pauline Neumann, beloved Rosauer?s clerk, went to the Lord July 7, 2007 at the age of 69. She was taken from her earthly home by a brain tumor, Glioblastoma multiform. A funeral service for Ruth will be held at 10:30 am Central Time on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Hebron, with the Rev. David Ling, officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, in Hebron. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Ruth was born January 22, 1938 in Zap, North Dakota. Her parents were John and Pauline Imhoff Lennick. Ruth married Roland Paul Neumann in Hebron, North Dakota on November 20, 1955. She began working at Super Value in Glen Ullin, North Dakota and later she and Roland farmed for 13 years. They owned and managed an equipment rental business across several Western states and Ruth was also a partner in a Bible book store in Bismarck, North Dakota. They moved to Steptoe, Washington about 11 years ago. Ruth began working as a checker for Excell Foods and was employed by Rosauer?s Grocery Store where she was a well known checker at the time of her death. Ruth enjoyed cooking, especially German dishes, but her favorite passion was Gospel music of all kinds. She is survived by her husband, Roland, at their Steptoe home; son Randy also of Steptoe, a grandson, Kyle, three sisters: Marge Kroh, Bismarck, ND; Esther ( Alvin) Vietz, Tulsa, OK; Ruby (Richard) Funk, Santa Maria, CA; and two brothers Armin (Joan), Bismarck, ND; and Milton (Elaine) Lennick. Bismarck, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rodney Paul Neumann in November 2001 and by Richard, Clarence and Raymond.
