Ruth Stiller

Funeral services for Ruth Stiller, 91, of Hebron, will be 11:00 a.m. (CST), Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at St. John United Church of Christ in Hebron, ND with Pastor Gaylund Olson officiating.  Burial will take place at 3:00 p.m. (CST) at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.


Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.


Ruth passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Sanford Health in Bismarck.


Ruth Saphronia Keith was born October 13, 1925 in Columbia, MO, to Arthur and Nellie (Lynes) Keith. Ruth and her family moved to Hebron in 1927 after the death of her father. She graduated from Hebron high school. Ruth married Lester Stiller on June 12, 1945 at St. Johns UCC. To this union four children were born; Randy, Bryon, Nanette and Marla. Ruth was a member of the Legion Auxiliary for 71 years, the Hebron Senior Citizens and Merry Maids Homemakers. She loved going to her morning and afternoon coffee groups and spent much of her time sewing and knitting when she wasn’t raising her children.


Ruth is survived by her children, Randy (Karen) Stiller of Hazen, Bryon (Nicole Kreiger) Stiller

of Billings, MT, Nanette (Michael) Winkler of Dupont, WA, Marla (Anton) Seiler of Dickinson, considered a third daughter, Beverly Petri of Hebron; grandchildren, Brandon Seiler, Joshua Winkler, Trevor Seiler, Michaella Winkler; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kinsley and Zoey Seiler.


She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Nellie Keith; husband, Lester; brothers, Edward “Buster” Keith, Millard Keith; and sister, Margaret Funk.
