A Memorial Service for Ruth ?Pinky? Griffith-Wolf, 74, of Gilroy, CA will be at 2:30 p. m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker, MT. Inurnment will follow in Bonnievale Cemetery at Baker. Pinky passed away on August 26, 2012, into the arms of her heavenly Father, Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at her home in Gilroy, CA. It was her greatest desire. Ruth Marion Griffith Wolf was born on December 3, 1937, to Allen and Mildred (Duffield) Griffith at St. Ignatius, MT. She was the second of ten children. Ruth was a beautiful blond baby and the family?s affectionate nickname for her was ?Pinky? and that stuck to her for life. Ruth moved to Washington State and took care of her maternal grandparents, Charles and Laura Duffield for many years. When Charles passed away, Ruth and Laura moved to California. Ruth worked for many years in San Jose, CA as a nurse?s aid and later she obtained her LPN certification. In her later years, Ruth spent her free time helping others. She did house sitting, pet sitting, dog walking, driving friends and acquaintances to doctor appointments; sitting with them during chemotherapy treatments and dialysis and in general seeing where she could be of assistance to her friends and neighbors. Ruth?s main interest in her life was in Bible study and reading and sharing her absolute faith in Jesus Christ. We are so very thankful for her many prayers on our behalf. Ruth is survived by her three sisters, Nancy, Linda, Joan and five brothers, Butch, Francis, Ken, Duane, Richard and their spouses; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Mildred; a sister, Barbara and a nephew, Robert Wayne.
