Funeral Mass for Reinold ?Sam? Kuntz, 86, of Dickinson, will be 2:00 p. m. , Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. Burial will take place later this spring. Visitation for Sam will be from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. , Monday April 4, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a Rosary and Vigil Service taking place at 7:00 p. m. in the chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home. Sam passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, Montana as a result of a sudden illness while eating in Wibaux, MT. Reinold B. Kuntz was born July 28, 1924 in Dickinson, the son of Nick and Frances (Wock) Kuntz. He grew up on the family farm north of South Heart, attended country school and graduated from Model High School. After graduation, Sam continued to farm and never left the family farm. Sam also helped out at the local country school for a short time. He enjoyed spending time attending Threshing B?s, taking care of his horses and cattle and was proud of his John Deere tractors. Sam enjoyed his final five years living at Evergreen. Sam was a member of the F. O. E Eagles, was a 4-H Leader for a number of years and Secretary/Treasurer for School District #12 of New Hradec. Sam is survived by three sisters, Madge Stefanatz of Jerome, ID, Veronica Gayda of Dickinson and Adaline (Floyd) Hushka of Dickinson; and one brother Stanley (Tillie) Kuntz of Belfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Bridget, Minnie, Rose and Pauline; and six brothers, John, Mike, Ralph, George, Tony, Acqulinus Sebastian; an infant sibling; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to Evergreen or a memorial of your choice.
